Getting your Frozen Fix

As many of you may already know, the Frozen bug has bitten me hard, and it seems I’m not the only one! Best of all, Disney is embracing this obsession (mass hysteria?) with a SLEW of Frozen themed attractions and entertainment options. Personally I could not be more excited (although I will forever mourn the Norway ride, the Spirit of Norway will always live in it’s people, not in Arendelle!) Here are my top picks for getting your Frozen fix!

Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet at Magic Kingdom
This is by far the most coveted FastPass+ reservation, and with good reason. I am up at midnight on the regular 60 days out from Walt Disney World vacations for my clients sweating getting this one. It’s the first one I go to check on no matter where in their stay it is. Why do I do this? Not because my clients would be upset, I’ve yet to have someone not understand if something was booked. No, I sweat it cuz it’s so awesome and I want EVERYONE to be able to experience it. These gals are amazing, they take so much time with the kids (and bigger kids). They are spot on Character wise and getting to see them both in one pop AND interact with them is a Frozen freak’s dream. The only thing which would be better is if Olaf were there singing and dancing with you… seriously Disney get on it!

First Time in Forever at Hollywood Studios
This is a sing-a-long. I could totally leave it at that and you’d need no more reason to go but I have to add that not only do you get to sing Let-it-Go twice… it SNOWS during the encore rendition. If you know me, you know why I must do this.

Meeting Olaf at Hollywood Studios
Disney is introducing this meet in greet in “Spring 2016”. They say he will be enjoying summer and giving warm hugs. I’m not seeing a FastPass+ reservation for him so I’m assuming it’s gonna be a long time for those warm hugs!

Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom
This parade is fantastic, and not just because the Frozen gang are in it. There are a ton of excellent floats and dancers and even a real fire breathing dragon from Maleficent. Well, the fire it breathes is real, the dragon is made of metal… It’s as close to burning man as you’re gonna get in Walt Disney World.

There are a host of other opportunities to see Anna, Elsa and the gang with even more coming on the horizon. There are also copious opportunities to purchase Frozen merchandise at seemingly every turn. That said, these are the ones I am most excited about and enjoy the most. The one thing I’m really hoping will happen which I haven’t heard about is Frozen character dining. Just please, no lutefisk, I don’t think it would give me the good feelings.
